When your items are in the Outbound process, it will move through various stages, each identified by a specific Status.
This diagram shows how a shipment progresses through the Outbound Status Flow, some statuses can be deselected if they are not required for your outflow process.
In-Pool Status
The In-Pool Status is the default initial status assigned when your shipment has been added to Canary7 on Shipping Enquiry, it will be within the Shipment Planner Pool tab, where it will remain until the user sends it to the Wave.
Putting Shipment to Wave Guide
In-Wave Status
The In-Wave Status is assigned once the user adds that Shipment to a wave. A wave is a method of grouping and releasing orders for processing based on specific criteria, such as priority, delivery time, or inventory location. This allows for enhancement of the efficiency of workflows and resource utilisation.

Pick Pending Status
The shipment has been released from the Shipment Planner and is now in the Picking stage. It will remain in this status until the picker completes all picking jobs assigned through the Picking Job Execution process.
Consolidation Pending Status
The operatives have picked the items from their respective locations and the items are awaiting consolidation, where the system will direct the operative to the appropriate area(s) for placement. This status ensures that items are consolidated in the correct locations and the status will remain in Consolidation Pending until all Consolidation Jobs for this Shipment are completed.
Pack Pending Status
The order has been sent to its designated Packing location, it will remain in this status until Packing Job Execution has been completed. Packing refers to the preparation of items for shipping by securely placing them into containers, ensuring items are grouped, labelled and ready for dispatch.
Staging Pending Status
The Shipment has been retrieved and is awaiting the user to place the products in the designated staging area, it will be in this status until the user has completed the Staging Job Execution. Staging is the process of temporarily placing packed into in a designated area before they are shipped. It ensures that orders are organised, ready for final checks and subsequent Loading onto transportation.
Consigning Pending
The product is now awaiting consignment, it will remain in this status until the user has completed the Consigning Job Execution. Consigning a shipment refers to confirming the details of a shipment with the selected Carrier, the carrier will then collect the shipment for delivery to it’s specified destination.
Awaiting Dispatch Confirmation
The shipment will stay in this status up to the point when the product has been dispatched, as confirmed by the carrier.
Loading Pending
This shipment is waiting to be loaded onto a trailer (if required) and will stay in this status until the user has completed the Loading Job Execution.
How to use Loading Job Execution
Closed
This is the final status within the outbound flow, which means no more executions can be performed on this shipment. The shipment cannot be amended or deleted at this stage. Note, the Load must be closed in order to transition a shipment to this status.
