Understanding Consolidation
What is Consolidation
Consolidation Job Execution is to bring together containers which belong to the same shipment into one location.
Accessing Consolidation
Within the Navigation menu, click on the search bar, type ''Consolidation'' and click "Consolidation". Consolidation is also in Shipping > Consolidation.
How to Use Consolidation
Selecting a Consolidation Profile
Click on the Receiving Profile drop-down menu, the correct profile must be selected so the product will be picked correctly. If you need to create a profile, here is a guide Add a Consolidation Profile
Entering Required Fields
To use Consolidation, you will need to enter or select the following:
- Scan or enter the Container Number.
- Scan or enter the Dock Location.
- Enter the Location Check digit.
Once you have selected and entered the required fields, click on the Move to Consolidation button to complete the consolidation job execution.
Consolidating the Other Containers
The process will look slightly different but function similarly for consigning other containers belonging to the same shipment. However, you will need to select the Dock locations rather than enter them.
Once you have selected and entered the required fields, click on the Move to Consolidation button to complete the consolidation job execution.
