    Understanding Adjustment Type

    What is Adjustment Type?

    It is a predefined set of instructions that will change the process of completing inventory adjustments.

    Accessing Adjustment Type

    Within the Navigation menu, click on the search bar and type ''Adjustment Type'' and click on "Adjustment Type". Adjustment Type is also in Configuration, under Functional Area Setup > Inventory Control Setup > Adjustment Type.

    Adding an Adjustment Type

    Click on the Red Action Buttonred action button, this will bring up a drop-down menu, and select "Add"

    Enter Required Fields

    Enter or Select the following

    • The Name of the Adjustment Type
    •  Adjustment Class
    •  Description

    Ensure that the Active check box is checked active checkedso that it will appear in the system. If unchecked, it won't be seen. 

    Once you have selected and entered the required fields, click on the submit buttonsubmit button(1) to add.
