What is Shipment Picking Job Creation?

This allows for the design of picking jobs, allowing the user to determine the set of induction of which the job consists.

Accessing Shipment Picking Job Creation

Within the Navigation menu, click on the search bar and type "Shipment Picking Job Creation" and click on "Shipment Picking Job Creation". Shipment Picking Job Creation is also in Configuration, under Functional Area setup > Job Setup > Shipment Picking Job Creation.

Add Shipment Picking Job Creation

Click on the Red Action Buttonred action button, this will bring up a drop-down menu, and select "Add"

Enter mandatory fields in the General Tab

Enter or select the following:

  1.  Name
  2. Job Type Adding a new Job Type
  3. Job Number Assignment
    1.  Job ID
    2.  Shipment Number

Complete the Where Tab

This tab allows you to set the rules of this shipment pick, in this example, I have set it to pick from a specific warehouse, but you can set it to a specific company, click the upper submit buttonsubmit button(1) to add the rule, and you can add other rules with logic applied.

To continue with the other tabs, you need to click on the lower submit buttonsubmit button(1) to have access.

Group by Tab

To access this tab, locate your shipment picking job creation, click on the three dotsThree dots and click edit.

Click on the Group by tab

Simply drag the group by boxes that you want this picking job to have, it will be in the order of importance. Having a group by shipment number will mean only one job per shipment.

Order by Tab

This will define the order of the instructions inside the job, to set an order, simply drag them across to the right from the left.

Once you have selected and entered the required fields, click on the submit buttonsubmit button(1) to add.
