    Understanding Reason Code

    What is Reason Code?

    It is an explanation of why you needed to make an inventory adjustment within Canary7, it prevents the user from continuously typing in the same reasons, and having an option to select makes the process much easier.

    Accessing Reason Code

    Within the Navigation menu, click on the search bar, type "Reason Code", and click "Reason Code". Reason Code is also in Configuration, under System Setup > Reason Code.

    Add Reason Code

    Click on the Red Action Buttonred action button, this will bring up a drop-down menu, and select "Add"

    Enter Required Fields

    Reason Code updated

    Enter and Select the following

    1.  Adjustment Code, make sure it's a relevant name.
    2. Adjustment Class ID Add an Adjustment Type.

    Ensure thatactive checked is checked so that your Reason Code will appear in Canary7

    Once you have selected and entered the required fields, click on the submit buttonsubmit button(1) to add.
