Understanding Rate Card
🧾 What is a Rate Card?
A Rate Card is where you define how much to charge for different services. It groups together multiple Charge Types and assigns a monetary rate to each one.
Think of it as your pricing sheet – while Charge Types define what and when to charge, the Rate Card determines how much to charge.
🔎 Accessing Rate Card
To access Rate Cards:
From the Navigation Menu, type
Rate Card
in the search bar and select Rate CardOr go to Billing > Rate Card
Adding a Rate Card
Click on the Red Action Button, this will bring up a drop-down menu, and select "Add"
Complete the General Tab
Enter a clear, descriptive name for your Rate Card (e.g. Standard UK Charges
, Q3 B2C Rates
).
Complete the Rate Card Tab
➤ Add Charge Types:
Select a Charge Type from the dropdown
Click the Add button to include it in the Rate Card
Select the charge type and click on the add button so that it will appear above.
Enter the Value of the Rate
➤ Set the Rate:
Once added, click the Rate field beside the Charge Type
Enter the monetary value you wish to apply (e.g.
0.20
,2.50
)
💡 Tip: Rates can include decimal values and represent charges per unit, per weight, per day, etc., depending on the associated Charge Class.
Adding more Rates to the Rate Card

To add more rates to the same Rate Card:
Select another Charge Type
Click Add, and enter the associated rate value
🚫 You cannot add the same Charge Type more than once to a single Rate Card.
Once you have selected and entered the required fields, click on the submit button to add.
