    Understanding Printer

    What is Printer?

    It is how your physical printer within your warehouse is assigned to Canary7 and how it will be detected using its IP address.

    Accessing Printer

    Within the Navigation menu, click on the search bar, type ''Printer'' and click on "Printer". Printer is also in Configuration, under System Setup > Printer.

    Adding a Printer

    Click on the Red Action Buttonred action button, this will bring up a drop-down menu, and select "Add"

    Enter the following:

    1. Name
    2. IP Address

    Once you have selected and entered the required fields, click on the submit buttonsubmit button(1) to add.

    The IP of your printer in Windows 10 can be found in the Control Panel > hardware and sound > Devices and Printers. Right Click the correct printer and click on properties. Within the ports tab, you should see the IP as shown.
