    Understanding Job Class

    What is Job Class?

    They are a way of assigning a name to the job that indicates its primary purpose, and all jobs of this class will perform the same job execution. 

    Accessing Job Class

    Within the Navigation menu, click on the search bar and type "Job Class", and click on "Job Class". Job Class is also in Configuration, under Functional Area setup > Job Setup > Job Class.

    Add Job Class

    Note it's most likely that you will not need to add any Job Classes, as they will be setup up by our onboarding team.

    Click on the Red Action Buttonred action button, this will bring up a drop-down menu, and select "Add"

    Enter Name and Description

    Ensure that active checkedis checked so that your job class will appear in Canary7.

    Once you have selected and entered the required fields, click on the submit buttonsubmit button(1) to add.
