Understanding Item Group
What is Item Group?
Item Group is a way of categorising items into separate groups. An example of this would be categorising items into "Large items", "Medium items" and "Small items", delineating between their physical characteristics.
Accessing Item Group
Within the Navigation menu, click on the search bar and type and click on "Item Group". Item Group is also in Configuration, under Functional Area Setup > Inventory Control Setup > Item Group.
Adding an Item Group
Click on the Red Action Button
, this will bring up a drop-down menu, and select "Add"
Enter Required Field
Enter the name of the item group and give a description if needed.
Once you have selected and entered the required fields, click on the submit button.png)
