Understanding Inventory Logs
What are Inventory Logs
Inventory logs are what is used when inventory tracking is required and fulfilled, they provide all the information required.
Accessing Inventory Logs
Within the Navigation menu, click on the search bar, type ''Inventory Logs'' and click "Inventory Logs". Inventory Logs is also in Logs > Inventory Logs.
Finding Information within Inventory Logs
For example, I want to find logs related to a specific warehouse.
Here are the searchable fields within inventory logs:
- Transaction Types
- Start Date
- End Date
- Item
- Company
- Location
- Warehouse
- User
- Reference
- Batch Number
- Container No
- Inventory ID
Once you have entered all the information, you need to find your results click on the search button to continue.
This will only have some columns in view to see the rest, drag the horizontal scroll bar. Here is a list of what headers you scroll between to view the information:
- Inventory ID
- Item Code
- Location Code
- Transaction Type
- Transaction Time
- quantity
- Unit Of Measure
- Company Code
- Warehouse Code
- Direction
- Reference
- User Name
- Batch Number
- Container Number
- Reason Code
- Comment
If you want to go back and input more information, click on the search icon and enter whatever data you need to refine your search.
