📦 Suggested Container on Receiving

🔍 Feature Overview

The Suggested Container feature is an optional setting within a Receiving Profile that enables Canary7 to recommend an existing container for received items, based on:

The same Location Job Zone
The same user who is currently receiving

Canary7 runs a locating check, and if suitable, suggests a pre-existing Putaway Container for items that are destined for the same zone — helping reduce duplication and improve efficiency.

⚠️ Note: This feature is only available when using Receiving Profiles with:

Manual License Plate Assignment
Check-In and Locate enabled

⚙️ How to Enable Suggested Container

To turn on this feature:

Go to Configuration > Receiving Profile
Select the relevant Receiving Profile
In the setup menu, ensure the following:
- ✅ Tick: Suggest to Container
- ✅ Select Matching Criteria:
  - Match to Location Job Zone
  - Match to Created User

Once active, Canary7 will automatically suggest suitable containers during the receiving process.
