Shopify API (Private App)

Getting Credentials from Shopify

Canary7 Shopify Integration requires Credentials from the Shopify of the Private App Admin API. Please log into your Shopify Partners account. Note this method is for users who made a private app before shopify changed how their API works. The latest method requires that you make a custom app.

For this integration, you need the following:

• Shopify Url
• API Key
• Password
• Shopify Location ID

1. Go into the Stores section.
2. Click "Log in" on the store you want to integrate with Canary7.
3. Click on "Settings" on the bottom left.
4. Highlighted in green is the Shopify Url. Please take note of this. Click on "Apps and sale channels"
5. Click on the app for Canary7.
6. Within this menu, scroll down to Admin API; the required information is shown below.
   
7. Now go back to settings and click on locations.
8. Click on the location which you want to use.
9. The Shopify location ID is now visible within the URL shown below.

Ensure that you have gotten the following:

• Shopify Url
• API Key
• Password
• Shopify Location ID

Adding a Shopify Company Integration

Complete the General Tab

Select the following:

1.  "Shopify" as the integration
2. The company related to the integration

Click on to complete the general tab.

Complete the Api tab

Select the integration Api; here are the options available:

• Order
• Item
• Inventory 
• Inventory Sync

Click on to continue, you can add more of these by clicking on the Red Action Button,this will bring up a drop-down menu, and select "Add".

If needed, you can enter the Transform. If not, leave it blank and click to continue.

Complete the Credential Tab

Enter the following with the information obtained above:

1.  Name - API key
2. password
3. url
4. shopify_location_id

Ensure that this information is correct and click on to add this Shopify integration for this company.
