    Understanding Cycle Count Template

    What is Cycle Count Template?

    It is the template used in which to set up an upcoming Cycle Count Plan. It allows users to create a template to delineate between cycle counting methods, such as which locations and how long each count stays valid for.

    Accessing Cycle Count Template

    Within the Navigation menu, click on the search bar, type "Cycle Count Template", and click "Cycle Count Template". Cycle Count Template is also in Configuration, under Functional Area Setup > Cycle Count Setup > Cycle Count Template.

    Add Cycle Count Template

    Click on the Red Action Buttonred action button, this will bring up a drop-down menu, and select "Add"

    Enter Required Fields

    Enter and select the following:

    1. Name

    2. Location SelectionAdd a location selection

    3. Last Cycle Count Validity (The number of days in which this count will stay valid for before needing to be recounted)

    4. Maximum Location Counts

    Ensure that active checkedis checked so that your template will appear in Canary7.

    Once you have selected and entered the required fields, click on the submit buttonsubmit button(1) to add.
